Mobile media blasting is a 100% mobile unit that provides blasting services for almost any commercial or residential application with little to no mess. Our system handles everything from paint, stain, and powder coating removal to surface cleaning for concrete, heavy equipment, and glass pool tiles. We can even etch granite and frost glass. This process removes nearly any coating from almost any surface without creating the heavy dust plume that traditional sandblasting produces. By mixing water and abrasive inside the blast tank, we increase both mass and energy output while suppressing dust and heat buildup. The result is up to 95% dust reduction and cooler surface temperatures, allowing us to work safely and efficiently across residential, oilfield, mining, farming, and industrial settings.
We understand that every customer’s needs are different based on their project, budget, and timeline. While our service is fully mobile, blasting on-site may not always be the best approach. We also offer drop-off, pick-up, and delivery options for added convenience. Contact us today to discuss the setup that works best for you and your project.
Because wet abrasive blasting effectively contains media, cleanup is simple and efficient. When blasting over a hard surface such as concrete, we can sweep and dispose of the used media quickly. For other environments, we can place a containment sheet beneath the blast zone and collect the spent media once the job is complete. Our blast media is pet-safe and environmentally friendly, meaning cleanup requirements will depend on the surface and project type. Contact us for more details about cleanup options specific to your site.
No, our wet abrasive blasting process prevents heat distortion and warping. By introducing water into the blast stream, we reduce friction and heat, keeping surface temperatures roughly 10°C cooler than ambient. This temperature control allows us to achieve smooth, consistent results on metal surfaces while minimizing airborne dust by up to 95%.
Yes, our process is completely safe for both the environment and pets. We primarily use 40/70 recycled bottle glass as an abrasive, which is chemically inert, non-toxic, and contains less than one percent free silica. This eco-safe material ensures the process meets Alberta environmental standards while protecting vegetation and animals nearby.
To prevent flash rust, we add a specially formulated rust inhibitor directly into the blast water. This solution protects the surface during and after blasting for up to 48 to 72 hours. After blasting, we rinse the surface again with the inhibitor for maximum protection, then blow it dry to remove all moisture. This leaves the metal clean, smooth, and ready for coating, sealing, or restoration.
